The Cash Ladder is getting three skill divisions. From the normal reset on Monday 14 September at 00:00 Amsterdam time, you can compete for cash against players in your own bracket.

The aim is simple: give more players a realistic shot at a prize. You shouldn't need to be one of the strongest players on the entire platform to have something to chase each week.

Elite. Challenger. Contender.

Each division has its own standings and prize places. Your skill determines your division; the Ladder Points you earn determine your position inside it. You can browse all three boards on the Cash Ladder page, with your own division highlighted.

Everyone still uses the same matchmaking queue. A match can contain players from different divisions, and friends keep their individual divisions when they queue together. Your eligible LP goes to your own board.

How we place you

For established players with 30 or more completed matches across the platform, we use your rating. Newer players use match performance once enough analysed stats are available, and their existing rating until then. There is no placement-game requirement to start earning LP.

You can earn LP from your first match, subject to the usual party and account rules. Weekly prize qualification is separate from earning LP.

A division you can compete in all week

Your division stays fixed for the competition period. Returning players are placed based on their skill at reset, so joining later in the week doesn't change your bracket. Reaching 30 lifetime matches during the week also leaves your current division intact.

Movement happens between periods. Players can move up as their skill develops; moving down requires consistently playing at a lower level and happens at most one division at a time. You can see the current rules and prize amounts on the ladder page.

LP, prizes and fair play

The match scoring stays familiar: results and personal performance determine your LP. Each division has its own prize race. If leader bounties are enabled, the bonus applies to beating a leader in your own division. The usual game and distinct-opponent requirements still apply before you appear on the cash board.

To keep the competition fair, accounts flagged for links to other accounts are restricted from earning new LP. The party screen shows your eligibility before you queue. If you believe a restriction is a mistake, you can appeal for an admin review.

Existing LP is preserved. An admin approval restores earning for new matches; it does not add LP to matches played while restricted.

A clean start at the normal reset

The period ending on Sunday 13 September finishes under its existing format and prizes. Its standings and history stay intact. The next period starts with the new division format, and prizes still go through the normal review and payout process.

Check the Cash Ladder, find your division, and make your next week count.
