The developer console is required to connect to servers. You only need to enable it once.
Open CS:GO and go to Settings (gear icon).
Navigate to Game Settings tab.
Find "Enable Developer Console (~)" and set it to Yes.
Tip: The default key to open the console is ~ (tilde) or ` (backtick), located below the Escape key.
Done! The console is now enabled. Press ~ to open it anytime.
Once you have a connect command from CSGOPremier, follow these steps to join the server.
On CSGOPremier, click the Copy button next to the connect command.
In CS:GO, press ~ to open the console.
Paste the command by pressing Ctrl+V (or Cmd+V on Mac).
Press Enter to connect to the server.
Example Command
That's it! You'll be connected to the server automatically.
Console not opening?
Make sure you enabled the console in Game Settings. Try pressing both ~ and ` keys. You can also rebind the console key in Settings → Keyboard/Mouse → Toggle Console.
Connection refused or timed out?
The server may be full, offline, or still loading. Wait a moment and try again. Make sure you copied the complete connect command.
Steam logon error?
If you're getting a Steam logon error when trying to connect, try verifying the integrity of your game files:
- Open Steam and go to your Library.
- Right-click the game and select Properties (or click the gear icon).
- Click the Installed Files tab in the left-hand menu.
- Click "Verify integrity of game files".
- Wait for the process to finish, which may take several minutes.
Wrong game version?
CSGOPremier requires CS:GO (separate Steam listing), not CS2. Make sure you have CS:GO installed from the Steam Store. See installation guide →
